TOBACCO THEATER
An impressive theater location in the cultural main street of Amsterdam. Industrial, fresh, romantic, cool and the love for detail and history splashes off our eight meter high walls!
We are an independent theater where the costs for our cultural performance are raised from the income from our business events. We are therefore slightly different from the standard subsidized theaters.
As a cultural visitor you will experience our intimate performance at your own table with candles, nuts and a drink. At TOBACCO Theater you do not just attend a performance, but you will intensely experience the ultimate nightlife in the atmosphere of a 1920s Jazz club.

”The love journey. On October 10, the Floating Fairytales organized the program ‘De Liefdesreis’ in this beautiful theater. Despite all the constant changes related to the corona virus, you have done everything you can to create a nice evening for our guests, and we succeeded. From start to finish it has been a warm journey full of love and possibilities. With a lot of hospitality from you. Thank you for being ready and thinking about all the possibilities.
With 2 shows in one evening in a sold-out hall, both we and the audience had a very successful evening! A love journey! The staff are sweet, pleasant and solution-oriented. We had a beautiful changing room with everything we could wish for. Our guests had their own table and were served. The distance was there and despite it, there was a very nice warm atmosphere.

“We enjoyed this beautiful place in the heart of Amsterdam. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The preparation went very smoothly. Naomi from the TOBACCO Theater thought along with us and made sure that everything was well organized. The night before, it became clear that all theaters had to close at 10 PM on the night of the concert. We decided to let the concert go ahead in combination with a Livestream and to make it a wonderful and special evening together. And that has more than succeeded! What a warm welcome. The light and sound was great as was the help of the hosts that evening to keep everything running smoothly. A heartwarming experience. We hope to organize more concerts in TOBACCO Theater with HeartFire in the future.”
