Estafête
During Amsterdam Dance Event, TOBACCO LIVE will once again be rocking the house. On Saturday 25 October, We Crave Music and INI Movement are proud to present Estafête: a groundbreaking live musical experience where DJs and top musicians challenge each other in a non-stop stream of groove, improvisation and excitement.
No standard concert. No pre-determined set list. Instead, a live club concept where everything revolves around the moment. The DJ starts, the band picks up, the DJ responds, and so the baton is passed back and forth in a musical rollercoaster that takes you from soul to house, from hip hop to everything in between.
Every edition of Estafête is unique. Think: a world-class DJ who elevates the turntables to an instrument, combined with an all-star band full of key figures from the Amsterdam music scene. What you get is an evening full of musical fireworks, improvisation, interaction and pure energy.
In between the Estafête sets, DJ Shamis keeps the energy high with his unmistakable sound, an extra layer of groove that keeps the evening flowing.
The ninth edition of TOBACCO LIVE coincides with ADE this year, and that’s no coincidence. No commercial line-ups, but raw creativity, razor-sharp improvisation and live music that will stay with you.
