Imagine: you step through majestic oak doors and are immediately embraced by an atmosphere that is both robust and refined. Smooth, white walls of powerful plaster, a bold steel bar, and an elegant balcony at the rear make it clear right away that this is no ordinary venue. Here, you can feel the love for detail in every fiber of your being.

Layouts

The Theater Hall offers endless possibilities.

  • In a theater setup, the chairs are arranged in straight rows without tables. This ensures that all guests have an equal view of the stage and the seating in the room is optimally utilized.

  • A flexible setup with few limitations. You can move around as you wish, and if desired, we can arrange some seating and high tables for placing glasses and plates.

  • In a classroom setup, multiple chairs are arranged at each table. The tables are placed in rows with sufficient space for walking. The participants all face the speaker, ensuring everyone has the same view.

  • At TOBACCO Theater, we take dining to the next level, both in taste and atmosphere. You can choose from different setups, perfectly tailored to your event.

    Options at a glance:

    • Downstairs Room (without stage): Suitable for a lavish dinner with up to 220 guests.
    • Round Tables: For a more intimate atmosphere, we offer space for 150 guests, with an elegant ambiance that leaves nothing to the imagination.
    • Walking Dinner or Reception: Full flexibility for up to 600 guests spread throughout the venue, perfect for a dynamic evening full of culinary surprises.
    • Food Stations: TOBACCO’s food stations are more than just places to eat; they are a culinary experience. Each station is carefully designed and set up to perfectly match the ambiance of the respective cuisine.

  • We place our industrial chairs, with optional cushions, around the rectangular or round tables.

  • In this setup, the tables are arranged in a U-shape, with chairs behind them and a head table for the chairperson. The U-shape setup is characterized by the chairs being behind the tables, and the tables placed side by side in a row.

Facilities

No worries about the details! TOBACCO is happy to take care of the organization and administration, so all your energy can be focused on creating an unforgettable event.

  • Theater Hall Dimensions
    15m length x 13m width x 5.5m height (5.5m is the clear height from the floor to the grid)

    Lifts
    TOBACCO owns an Alplift lift. It can be used upon request.

    Loading and Unloading
    Loading and unloading is allowed between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM only from the main entrance at Nes 75. Outside these hours, arrangements can be made.

    Please Note:

    • The Theater Hall can only be accessed via the main entrance and has a staircase with seven steps.

    Not Allowed:

    • Use of confetti (streamers can be discussed)
    • Use of pyrotechnics
    • Use of non-flame-retardant decorative materials

    Damage and/or Loss
    This is always the responsibility of the renter/client. TOBACCO will have any damages repaired by a professional party and fully charge the costs. This also applies to the art in TOBACCO. Additional costs will be charged for moving the artwork.

  • Booking the Theater Hall? Then you can additionally make use of our Theater Hall Package, which includes sound, lighting, stage, and staff. Want to know more about the contents and pricing of this package? Feel free to contact us: we’ll be happy to tell you all about it!

  • Visitors of TOBACCO can use free wireless internet in all rooms. Using the TOBACCO Free WIFI is simple; all you need to do is select the network ‘TOBACCO Theater.’ We will provide you with the password, and you can get started right away!

  • TOBACCO offers various distinctive spaces, each with its own unique atmosphere. Would you prefer to set up the space according to your own wishes? That is of course possible!

  • For years, we have had a dedicated and, above all, proud team of employees. An experienced crew that knows what our guests can expect from us. It may be the biggest key to our success, but most importantly, to the success of your event!

  • Are you organizing an event and want to ensure smooth ticket sales? We’re happy to help! We work with Eventix, a reliable and user-friendly platform for ticket sales.

  • We collaborate with caterers who know exactly how to ignite your taste buds, each with their own unique specialty. We’re happy to help you find the perfect match. Do you have your own caterer in mind? No problem, that’s of course also allowed.

  • Would you like your event to shine beyond the iconic walls of TOBACCO Theater? With our comprehensive livestream package, in collaboration with the experts at Medify Livestream Productions, you can bring your event directly to your audience, wherever they may be in the world. Whether you choose a hybrid format or go fully online, we ensure everything runs smoothly and professionally.
