In the vibrant heart of Amsterdam, on the historic Nes, TOBACCO Theater once again opens its doors for a new season of TOBACCO LIVE. The concert series for fantastic live music and the newest sounds from the jazz, soul, funk and afrobeat scene. Together with Rafaël Nagelkerke from We Crave Music we present April 25, an evening full of live bands, strong vibes and pure musical energy. Expect an intimate club setting where you can enjoy great music, good drinks and above all: dancing to real live music.

This edition features TOS on stage. An artist who simply cannot do anything other than create. His music flows effortlessly between soul, hip-hop and pure emotion. With a unique stage energy and a voice that feels both powerful and warm, TOS brings music that feels like an open invitation: to listen, to move and to let everything go for a moment. After his debut album Pisces Tales and a European tour, he is currently working on new material, soulful, personal and with influences from hip-hop.

In addition, we welcome Illnoledge, the cosmic duo of brothers Steve Hartley Linger and Milton Leo Linger. Their music is a hypnotic mix of afrobeat, soul, latin, jazz and reggae, carried by deep rhythms and spiritual melodies. Inspired by their Caribbean roots and musical upbringing they create a sound that feels both earthly and futuristic. Their work has already been compared to artists such as Sun Ra, Madlib and J Dilla, and their recent debut album Everlasting brought them to stages such as Le Guess Who Festival, Paradiso and even the Barbican Centre in London.

Together, TOS and Illnoledge bring an evening where grooves, improvisation and energy come together.
