Camille Sledge, daughter of Debbie Sledge (of the legendary group Sister Sledge), grew up in a musical powerhouse and continues the family tradition with her powerful voice and magnetic stage presence. Pianist Bas van Lier, known for his virtuosic playing and deep roots in jazz, funk, and soul, adds his signature groove to the mix.

Together, they guarantee a show that swings, moves, and surprises. During their performance in the heart of the city, Sister Sledge classics — like you’ve never heard them before — come alive with a fresh, danceable twist.

From June 6 to 8, Red Light Jazz transforms Amsterdam’s Red Light District into a musical haven where tradition and innovation meet. In the spirit of the 1920s and ’30s, when American sailors brought jazz to the city’s oldest neighborhood, the music returns to where it all began. In this rich, historic setting, Camille and Bas offer a concert that is not only a feast for the ears but also a tribute to the heritage of jazz — and of the city itself.
